Overview
meshIQ delivers middleware management solutions to some of the world’s leading organizations. The company operates in a high-growth market segment and is hyper focused on customer acquisition. It is looking to hire a Channel Sales Executive, a role that will focus on customer acquisition through partners to enable meshIQ’s ‘land and expand’ initiatives. This is a high visibility and high impact role which will play a key role in delivering revenue growth by driving customer acquisition through partners. The role requires a strong Channel Sales Development background and collaboration with Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Technology Services, and Marketing functions.
The Channel Sales Executive will be responsible for expanding and driving relationships with existing partners, specifically resellers, which leads to building a strong channel pipeline of qualified opportunities for the Sales Team. The Channel Sales Executive will work with the CRO to continue executing the defined partner strategy and related initiatives.
Channel Sales Executive Responsibilities
As a Channel Sales Executive, you will:
- Vendor Relationship Management: Act as one of the main points of contact and engagement with Mainline Information Systems, Converge Technology Solutions, and other resellers and partners for a defined set of accounts. Build and maintain relationships with Account Executives, Systems Engineers, Enterprise Architects, etc. within these resellers.
- Opportunity Identification: Co-facilitate meetings to identify and qualify opportunities. Maintain the pipeline and coordinate joint campaigns and initiatives.
- Channel Revenue: This position is not only responsible for pipeline generation but also opportunity qualification, opportunity progression and ultimately moving deals through all sales stages required for new logo acquisition.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Collaborate with meshIQ Sales Directors to develop sales opportunities for designated accounts, maintaining regular cadence on opportunities and pursuits.
- Channel Management: Lead the channel management process, including creating and updating joint CRM system entries, reporting and maintenance.
- Account Planning: Work with meshIQ CRO to plan and execute joint account planning sessions. This includes agenda development, research, materials gathering, coordination among channel leadership, logistics, and notes capture and report outs.
- Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with meshIQ marketing team to propose ideas for joint channel marketing activations, customize meshIQ materials, and support digital and in-person marketing events to drive awareness and engagement with our channels and solutions.

Desired Skills and Experience
Required:
- 10+ years’ experience with resellers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and partners you serve
Preferred:
- Experience with managing and supporting IBM Business Partners
- Experience with HubSpot CRM
- Extensive sales experience with integration/middleware software
- Extensive sales experience with observability/monitoring software
